Mission Statement

The Magnuson First Year Fellows (MFYF) program immerses first-year students in entrepreneurial thinking and leadership within a collaborative, creative, and inspiring environment.

Students gain access to programming with inspiring guests—startup founders (students, alumni, faculty), entrepreneurial leaders, and innovators. They participate in workshops on business improv, human-centered design, and more. MFYF students also receive mentorship from upper-level students on the Magnuson Student Leadership Board and insights from experienced Entrepreneurial Thinking & Leadership Fellows.

Application is available around week five in the Dartmouth fall term. First Year Students in all majors and disciplines are encouraged to apply. Program starts in Dartmouth winter term and runs through spring term. Deadline: End of Dartmouth fall term.
