SBIR/STTR Proposal Assistance Grant

The purpose of the SBIR/STTR Proposal Assistance Grant is to provide support for your SBIR/STTR funding proposal to help improve your chances for success.

On behalf of the grantee, The Magnuson Center will fund up to 30 hours of proposal support (coaching, writing and project management) from the team at Tn Consulting.

Focus: For this award, we are currently interested in SBIR/STTR proposals targeting NIH funding.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

  • Must be Dartmouth faculty.
  • As this award is intended to help the applicant's team prepare a more competitive proposal, you should already have a strong understanding of the NIH SBIR/STTR process and requirements.
  • The applicant's team should be targeting the September 5, 2024, omnibus SBIR/STTR deadline for proposal submission.

  • Review the checklist and confirm that your team meets the criteria needed to prepare for a SBIR/STTR proposal.
  • Fill out the form and be as clear and concise as you can. No additional pages or attachments will be reviewed.
    • We recommend Adobe Acrobat Reader to fill out the form for best results.

Dates:

  • Applications are now closed.
  • If our reviewers need any clarifications, we may follow up via email or request a short call to discuss your submission. Your prompt attention to any clarification requests is greatly appreciated!
  • We hope to make a selection by May 31, 2024, at which point we will send out decisions to all applicants.
  • The winning team will then begin working with Tn Consulting on their proposal. The Magnuson Center will fund up to 30 hours (a $6,000 value) of proposal assistance.
