The first cohort included six teams, focused on industries including medical technology, consumer electronics, and construction.

The accelerator included eight teams, comprised of 40 students and faculty who benefitted heavily from Dartmouth alumni support.

Dartmouth innovators worked to design a better home lift to assist with mobility. The winning design was awarded $70,000 to bring the concept to reality.

This spring, Magnuson Center supported startups with over $75k in funding across the Magnuson Startup Competition, the Class of 2005 Grant, Founder Grants, Wily Initiatives Fund grants and more.

The sixth cohort of the Dartmouth Innovation Accelerator for Cancer (DIAC) awarded a total of $150,000 to two teams—one pursuing novel immunotherapy, and another developing a new tool for treating bone cancer.

This fall, the Magnuson Center awarded $20,000 in Founder Grants to seven early ventures. Founder Grants are open to current students, faculty and staff, and help provide funding to help make progress on their startups.

Steve Mandel ’78, Mark Mader ’92, and Brent Frei ’88 T’89, were inducted on Sept. 4 into Dartmouth’s Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame at a dinner in San Francisco organized by the Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship.

The community helps foster a supportive environment for founders who are willing to share both their highs and lows as they go through their startup journeys together.

The 2025 cohort of the Digital Health Track of the Dartmouth Innovations Accelerator included projects ranging from detecting fractured bones without x-rays to harnessing AI for reconstructive surgery.
